The `checkout` command allows you to switch to a different branch.

## ​Usage

```
xata checkout [branch name]
```

branch name

The branch to switch to

\--organization

string

Organization ID

​

\--project

string

Project ID

​

\--branch

string

Branch ID

​

\--database

string

Database name

​

\--json

boolean

Output in JSON format (default: false)

​

-h, --help

boolean

Print help information and exit

## ​Examples

```
# Checkout a specific branch
xata checkout main

# Checkout with specific organization and project
xata checkout feature-branch --organization org-123 --project proj-456
```
